About the role
Original Duckhead is growing internationally across wholesale and D2C, and we are entering an exciting new stage for the brand. This includes a rebrand, a bigger focus on social-first content, and a stronger push into community, creators, and storytelling.
We are looking for a Social Media & Content Creator to help shape how Original Duckhead shows up across organic social, especially TikTok, Reels, Instagram, and Pinterest.
This is a hands-on role with real creative input and visibility. It would suit someone who is culturally aware, visually strong, comfortable creating content, and excited by the opportunity to help build a brand at a key growth stage.
You will work closely with our Senior Marketing Manager and the founder, helping bring ideas to life across social, community, creator activity, and campaign content.
What you’ll work on
Social and content strategy
- Help develop repeatable content formats for TikTok, Reels, Instagram, and Pinterest.
- Bring trend-aware ideas that feel right for Original Duckhead.
- Support the planning of weekly content across organic social channels.
- Think creatively about how we make umbrellas feel more cultural, desirable, and relevant.
- Track what is working and help turn strong ideas into repeatable formats.
Short-form video
- Create and edit simple short-form video content for TikTok and Reels.
- Identify social trends, sounds, formats, and storytelling angles that could work for the brand.
- Help us build a stronger, more consistent TikTok presence.
- Capture content around product launches, campaigns, shoots, office moments, and everyday brand activity.
- Be comfortable appearing in content occasionally where relevant.
Community
- Help build a warmer, more engaged community around Original Duckhead.
- Support Instagram comments, DMs, and community interaction in our brand tone.
- Spot customer stories, creator content, press mentions, and cultural moments we can amplify.
- Help make our social channels feel more alive, responsive, and connected.
Creators and partnerships
- Help identify creators, tastemakers, stylists, editors, and brand-aligned people to work with.
- Support outreach, gifting, seeding, and relationship tracking.
- Bring ideas for collaborations, UGC, paid partnerships, and organic creator content.
- Track creator activity and help identify what is driving engagement, reach, and brand relevance.
Pinterest and discovery
- Help grow Pinterest as a discovery channel for the brand.
- Create and organise boards, pins, and product-led content.
- Think about how Pinterest can support both brand storytelling and product discovery.
- Use seasonal, colour, lifestyle, gifting, and design-led moments to make our products more discoverable.
Campaign and shoot support
- Support campaign planning from a social-first perspective.
- Help capture behind-the-scenes and short-form content at shoots.
- Contribute ideas for how campaigns can live across social, creators, email, PR, and community.
- Help make sure we capture enough content before, during, and after launches.
Press and content coordination
- Support press and PR activity alongside our agency where relevant.
- Help organise content assets, product information, and campaign materials.
- Keep social and content workflows organised so ideas move quickly into execution.
- Help maintain a clear content calendar and asset flow.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in social, content, creative production, community, or brand marketing.
- Strong taste level and a good eye for what feels current.
- A genuine understanding of TikTok, Reels, Instagram, Pinterest, and social-first storytelling.
- Comfortable filming, editing, and creating content.
- Comfortable being on camera.
- Strong writing skills and an instinct for brand tone of voice.
- Organised, proactive, and able to keep momentum in a fast-moving team.

Wholesale Operations & Faire Coordinator
Location: London, Clapham (office-based 4 days per week)

Original Duckhead is a design-led umbrella brand stocked by retailers around the world. We are hiring a Wholesale Operations & Faire Coordinator to own the day-to-day running of our Faire store and keep our soon-to-launch B2B portal accurate, polished, and easy for retailers to order from.
This is a hands-on operations role with high standards. You will own two retailer ordering channels (Faire and our B2B portal) and keep them best-in-class, ensuring wholesale runs smoothly, consistently, and professionally.
Key responsibilities
Own Faire store health end-to-end
- Maintain listings to a high standard: imagery, titles, descriptions, attributes, tags, and SEO hygiene.
- Manage retailer messages and ensure fast, helpful responses.
- Set up and run promotions and campaigns inside Faire.
- Maintain performance and store standards required for best store status.
Maintain our B2B portal (launch + ongoing)
- Keep product content, imagery, categorisation, and ordering experience clean and current.
- Update availability notes and key retailer info in collaboration with supply chain.
- Keep product data accurate and consistent across channels.
Manage B2B customer service
- Handle wholesale customer service end-to-end: order updates, delivery queries, product information, returns coordination.
- Resolve issues with internal teams and warehouse partners, keeping retailers informed and confident.
Take day-to-day admin off sales
- Own samples tracking and ensure follow-ups are organised.
- Keep HubSpot accurate and up to date (contacts, notes, tasks, next steps).
- Support account setup admin and keep retailer information tidy and accessible.
Maintain wholesale collateral basics
- Keep product specs, imagery folders, and line sheet inputs current and easy to access.
Candidate profile
- 1–3 years experience in wholesale operations, marketplace operations (Faire ideal), sales support, customer service, or similar.
- Highly organised and detail-driven, able to keep platforms consistently accurate and well maintained.
- Confident communicator with strong follow-through.
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and digital tools. HubSpot, Shopify, or B2B portal experience is a plus.
- London-based and able to work office-based 4 days per week.

Finance Manager

Build the finance backbone of a growing global brand
Original Duckhead is a London-based umbrella brand selling across wholesale and D2C, with customers and partners across the UK, Europe, the US, and other international markets.
We are hiring a hands-on Finance Manager to bring order, clarity, and control to our finance function. This is not an oversight role. You will be in the detail, owning the day-to-day bookkeeping in-house, producing monthly management accounts, managing UK VAT, maintaining a rolling cash flow forecast, and improving the quality and usability of our reporting.
You will work closely with the CEO and external accountants, and you will play a key role in building financial discipline across the business.
Why this role matters
This role is critical to improving visibility, control, and reporting quality. The goal is a finance function that gives clear insight into cash, costs, margin, and performance across channels, markets, and major areas of spend.
What you’ll own
Bookkeeping and finance operations
- Own day-to-day bookkeeping in Xero
- Maintain accurate records across GBP, EUR, and USD accounts
- Reconcile bank accounts, payment platforms, and control accounts
- Post journals, accruals, prepayments, and month-end adjustments
- Own accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Own credit control and maintain visibility on aged debt
Management accounts and reporting
- Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Deliver variance analysis and clear commentary to the CEO
- Build meaningful cost centre reporting
- Improve visibility on channel performance, margin, and overheads
- Create reporting that highlights profitability drivers, including major projects and trade shows where relevant
Cash flow and financial control
- Maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast
- Track key cash commitments and upcoming outflows
- Improve visibility on receivables, payables, VAT, payroll, and major costs
- Strengthen financial control and reporting discipline across the business
VAT and accountant coordination
- Own UK VAT returns and filings
- Prepare clean finance data for external accountants and advisors
- Coordinate with external accountants on EU VAT, US sales tax and year-end requirements where needed
- Maintain accurate multi-currency reporting and organised underlying data for compliance support
Systems and process improvement
- Improve the structure and cleanliness of Xero over time
- Help create consistent reporting across Xero, Cin7, Shopify, Stripe, Faire, and related systems
- Reduce manual errors and improve processes through simple, practical improvements
What we’re looking for
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent)
- Experience in a hands-on finance role in a retail, wholesale, consumer goods, or e-commerce business
- Experience working across multiple markets and currencies
- Strong bookkeeping and management accounts experience
- Strong understanding of accruals, prepayments, journals, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Experience owning UK VAT
- Experience working with external accountants and tax advisors
- Exposure to EU VAT and US sales tax or nexus coordination
- Strong attention to detail and strong organisational discipline
- Commercial understanding of costs, margin, and reporting
- Comfortable working in a small, ambitious business where ownership matters
What success looks like
Within the first few months:
- Bookkeeping is accurate and fully run in-house
- Monthly management accounts are clean and on time
- Reconciliations are up to date and reliable
- UK VAT is owned internally and filed correctly
- The 13-week cash flow forecast is live and maintained
- Cost centres are clear and useful
- The CEO has materially better visibility on cash, costs, and performance
- External accountants receive organised, reliable data
