Original Duckhead is a London-based brand creating considered weather-wear, from umbrellas to waterproof reusables, for people who care about the details.

Founded in 2012 by Parisian native Morgan Cros, Original Duckhead began as a solution to the umbrella industry’s critical flaw: every year globally a total of over 1 billion umbrellas are discarded. Most of these umbrellas are not recycled or even recyclable. 

Morgan decided to take this everyday essential and make it feel worth carrying, worth gifting, and worth keeping. Today, we make rainwear for people who refuse to let the weather decide the mood.

Our design ethos starts with the handle, iconic, purposeful, and instantly recognisable. Each umbrella is handmade and crafted to last beyond the season, designed to be kept, loved, and collected.

We make bold colour drops and limited editions you will spot instantly. Because practical does not have to be boring.

We choose materials with care, including recycled fabrics and responsibly sourced components, pushing for better as we grow. Our canopy fabric is made from rPET created from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles.
