Every idea starts with a problem. Ours was simple: there is a vital flaw in the throwaway culture surrounding the umbrella industry. We are driven to change the perception of umbrellas seen as short-term disposable products, as this is creating a huge waste issue and contributing to our global climate crisis.
Our founder decided to create an innovative umbrella design which actively removes plastic waste from our landfill and seas, by using 9 post-consumer plastic bottles to create the canopy for every single one of our umbrellas.
We only use high-strength aluminium and steel for our frames, to ensure they can stand the test of even the strongest gales of wind and heaviest thunderstorms. To finish it off, we pack each one of our orders with recycled and biodegradable packaging.

We design our products with longevity in mind, as to design sustainably means to design umbrellas to last. We want every umbrella to live a long productive life, so we always prioritise the highest quality materials and construction.
We are conscious that producing anything new has an impact on the environment. We are continuously working to eliminate waste at every stage of production.
